Our clients and research partners are not permitted to directly contact you, or any member of our Op4G properties without documented approval by Op4G.   Methodologies that require personal contact (follow-up interviews, in-home and on-site product testing, focus groups) must be approved by Op4G and would require written or digital consent from you.

How do clients contact members if a follow-up is required?

Op4G will oversee and approve all member and client communication in the event that a client wishes to include you in an interview, product test, or other service beyond the scope of Opinions4Good and OpinionPlus web surveys.

How does Op4G keep data secure?

Op4G stores personal and survey data in two physically separate server environments hosted by providers who ensure compliance with EU-US Privacy Shield and GDPR.  Deliverables are provided to clients via a ‘pseudonymous’ data management framework.   This means any data delivered to our clients or data processors will not include names, emails or other identifiable fields.

Your security when we collect any user data is also critical to us.  Any data collected by Op4G is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security technology.

We follow and try to exceed industry standards to protect your personal data.  However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  In the event of a breach or loss of personal data, we will directly contact our members and/or clients with all pertinent information.

What data does Op4G use to track my survey and reward progress?

Members are assigned a non-traceable unique username that allows only Op4G staff to certify the authenticity of information we send to our clients. Our system is built to prevent the revealing of any individual identity.

Can I access my user data?  How long do you retain it and why?

You can access and modify your profile via our websites.  It is the responsibility of you, the member, to correct, update, or amend personal information while their account is active in order to continue participating in the Opinions4Good or OpinionPlus properties.

Op4G will retain member data for all active accounts to provide surveys, process payments, comply with legal obligations, resolve all disputes.   See below for inactive, banned, or deactivated accounts.

So what is considered an inactive account, and what happens to it?

Inactive means the member has not logged in or attempted to take a survey within that span of time.   Accounts with six or more months of inactivity may be deleted at our discretion.  We will not retain your personal data.

What happens if my account is locked or banned?

If a member is banned due to fraudulent activity or violation of the Terms of Service, data may be retained and used to improve fraud detection methods   Blacklisted and fraudulent Members wishing to discuss or contest a closed account are encouraged to email our support team at support@op4g.com.

Members have total control over the volume of communication they receive from Op4G and our participating non-profit partners. If you participate, classification and demographic questions (such as gender, age, profession, or postal code), will often be asked to gauge your eligibility.
